Practical Lessons in Kiko (Tai Chi/Qigong/Chi Kung) 3-(2)
Chinese Kiko (Qigong/Chi Kung) -
The method of perpetual youth and longevity

There are no stories in this world at all such as Chinese Kiko (Qigong/Chi Kung) make people genius. And there is nobody who became super healthy and could live to be 150 years old because of Chinese Kiko (Qigong/Chi Kung).

On the contrary, some say that the average life expectancy of Chinese Kiko (Qigong/Chi Kung) masters is 65 years. Some say not like that and some say indeed and some don't know so I don't know but anyway it seems like it is not the method of perpetual youth and longevity.

Well, some say that Kiko masters have to consume Ki energy when they heal patients and that makes their body weak. If it is really like that, why not notice that most important thing is one's own health and stop doing such a thing like Kiko healing. If they cannot make a living without Kiko healing job, that means Kiko cannot make people healthy that much and cannot develop any ability at all. That's hopeless.

Anyway, it is true that there are some health issues in the actual state in China such as pollution and poison foods. But if put those matters aside now a bit and consider the facts that China is the birthplace of Kiko and people in there are supposed to have been cared by Chinese herb medicines which is said to have 4000 years history, how come the average of life expectancy of people in Tokyo, Japan, who have been suffered by various kinds of pollutions long time already and eating foods full of artificial additives, and lack of exercise and full of stress and too much western medicine, is much longer than people in China?

Some emphasize that there are some diseases that can't be cured by western medical treatments. In that case, just give up and enjoy how you are, because most of health conditions of each human being are decided by DNA.

"By doing Kiko, I want to be a superman and beat bad guys!!!"

If you have this kind of passion and purpose, I would like you to know that, first of all, not everyone can be super strong by doing Kiko as we all have things we're good at, and things we're not, and second of all, it requires utmost efforts and extreme ascetic practices and too time consuming that you might find yourself over 70 years old by the time you become strong enough, or could not be strong at all even though you spent all your life practicing it. Consequently I would rather recommend you martial arts such as Judo Karate, Boxing, Aikido and so on, of which most of you can be strong more or less through training.

Actually, one of my friend became very strong by doing Kiko methods. He is over 70 years old but knock boxers down and fling down Karate masters, Shaolin masters and fifth dan-ranked Judoka (Judo practitioner). It is true that one in a million could really be strong by doing Kiko. But his students could never be like him even though they have been practicing so hard many years. That's why I think those martial arts can be quicker way to most of you to be strong more or less. I guess quite a few people share my opinion.

That being the case, I would like to start my lectures on Chinese Kiko (Qigong/Chi Kung) methods; Tantoko and Suwaisyo, on the assumption that Ki energy is not particularly useful.
