Ki energy is an energetic vibration (which is called "Hado" in the Japanese language), thus we can consider that not only living things but also many kind of other "things" also emit something like Ki energy in a way.
You may have heard the words such as "Electrical Sensitivity" or "Electrical Hypersensitivity". All the electromagnetic waves such as electric waves, radio waves, infrared rays, visible rays, ultraviolet rays, X rays, gamma rays are energetic vibrations (Hado). Furthermore, electrical current itself can be considered as an energetic vibration (Hado). Therefore, all the electrical appliances such as electric wires, TV, cell phones, PC, microwaves, shavers emit energetic vibrations (Hado). So those who are hyper sensitive to those energy emissions cannot live in anywhere. In a forest? Trees emit energetic vibrations (Hado). And animals and even a murmuring of a stream emit it. So, strictly speaking, there is no place at all to live if you really are hyper sensitive.
Even a bumpy road emits energetic vibrations (Hado). The bumpiness emits energetic vibrations (Hado). In other words, patterns and diagrams emit energetic vibrations (Hado).
I suppose that religious diagrams such as Mandara or traditional fabric patterns such as Batik have its origins in those kinds of wisdoms.

When I completed this mark, I wondered if it is only I who feels something with it, so I showed it to my friend who is a Kiko master and is very sensitive with Ki energy. As soon as he saw this mark, he collapsed on the spot and was seized with a cramp.
By the way, I think I have seen a mark which is quite similar to this one, which was used in an ancient nation or somewhere.
Ancient people knew about it? Or simply it is the shape of the sun? The shape of lotus flowers also resembles this mark. Perhaps that's why ancient people consider lotus flower as a special flower - or perhaps not. I don't know.
Anyway, the point here is that Ki energy occurs inside of the people who see those patterns and diagrams.
Which means, it's all about the brain.
Brain sees things and we feel. The patters or diagrams affect one's brain, and the signals will be conveyed to the nerves and activate capillaries. And then, Ki energy will be emitted.
By the way, recent studies show that people see a glimpse of the afterlife in near-death experience when the sinciput is stimulated. But the mystery of how it happens is not solved yet.
I have some friends who claim themselves to be psychic mediums. I think they are also the ones whose siciputs have been stimulated somehow. And those who talk nonsense but are good at convincing people attracts believers, and cults and seminar's start, and faith healers and channelers enjoy their work.
