Zo-Kiko Tai Chi is a Kiko (Tai Chi/Qigong/Chi Kung) method developed by a Japanese Kiko master - Master Zo. To master how to manipulate Ki energy, all you have to do is to read this website. It will change your life.

Fundamentals of Kiko (Tai Chi/Qigong/Chi Kung) 3-(2)
What is Tanden? - Small intestine

Here we go deep into the small intestine which is also known as the small bowel.

Tanden (lower Tanden) indicates the area where small intestine is. That means, if you direct your attention to the area of Tanden, it affects your small intestine.

People tend to think that the main (boss) organ of the human body is brain. But primarily, brain is just an additional organ.

Let's go back to the early age of the world. Most of the primitive animals such as protozoans and metazoans are consist only of the digestive organs. And the digestive organ in those days has no stomach, no duodenum, no pancreas, and no liver. It was consist only of small intestine. That is to say, it started as a simple small intestine at first, and developed other organs in order to survive and remain one's own species to the next generation. The brain was attached and developed quite a long time later.

That is to say, the beginning of human being was the small intestine.

Well then, has the small intestine anything to do with Ki energy?

Why is Tanden an ocean of energy and a field of energy?

Yes? You discovered something again?

If you so, well done!

Yes, the capillaries!

As I explained before, Ki energy is an energetic vibration (Hado) which is emitted when something runs in tiny pipes.

And when it comes to animal's including human being's, Ki energy is the energetic vibration (Hado) which is emitted when the blood runs in a network of capillaries.

The small intestine has got innumerable plicae in order to absorb nutrition. And if you spread all those plicae, the total size will be same as the size of a tennis court. The blood runs in a web-like network of capillaries throughout tennis-court-sized plicae.

And if you connect all those capillaries, the whole length can be longer than the length of the circuit of the earth - this is how I have been telling my students groundlessly, but I just saw on TV an expert saying that this is quite right. The whole length of vessels including capillaries in human body is ninety thousand kilo meters, which is equivalent to make the two times and a half circuit of the earth.

We have this ninety thousand kilo meters length vessels inside our body, and the capillaries are concentrated so much on the small intestine. The energetic vibration (Hado) which is emitted when the blood runs in it is enormous.

And, when you are eating, the blood goes to the digestive organs. The stronger digestion you have, the more Ki energy you emit.

Then, what happen?
